West LA College Micro Forest
Made possible with funding from WBMWD’s Turf Replacement Rebate program, this 3,000 square foot micro-forest in LA features more than 200 native plants, all grown locally from regional seeds in partnership with Nature Nexus Institute. Enhancing the micro-forest is an additional planting of 175 coastal sage scrub plants and a seasonal wildflower meadow.
